Stone carving is a classic art of which Neil Luxton has been a master for over two decades, creating unique works of enduring elegance and beauty.

When working to private commission, Neil is based in his studio here at the Stour Valley Business Centre, where he handcrafts his masterpieces with the traditional patience and precision of the master craftsman.

Equally traditional is the concentration in a single pair of hands of each and every aspect of a commission. Friends and families therefore have the fullest confidence as they confer with Neil throughout the planning, making and installation of their desired memorial.

Neil Luxton also holds the prestigious post of in-house stonemason at London’s world-renowned Highgate Cemetery. Here he has created memorials for such famous individuals as Anthony Shaffer, author of ‘Sleuth’ Sheila Gish, British actress of stage and screen and Thomas Landry, Chess Champion among many, many more.
